United Colors

Saw this cool idea on my favorite home design site, DesignSponge, awhile ago...

A fun and free little art project using paintchips to make a color mosaic for a wall in your home. I swiped a bunch of these chips at my nearest Home Depot before I left, so thanks to Ralph Lauren paintchips for making this possible! Instead of blank color squares, I decided to write the names of the children at the Gisimba orphanage on the individual colors. So, besides being pretty to look at, kids can learn about color names such as Nantucket Blue, Surfboard Yellow and Collegiate Red.  This piece is now hanging in one of the rooms of the orphanage.
